Mitchell & Ness Memphis Grizzlies NBA Jersey Vince Carter 2015/16

Before becoming the Sounds in 1974, the Memphis ABA franchise was known as the Pros and Tams. With singer-songwriter Isaac Hayes coming on board as a partial owner in '74, and because Memphis had strong musical roots, the team was renamed the Sounds. Unfortunately, the Sounds only lasted one season, 1974-75. After the season, they were sold to a new group of owners in Baltimore. The Memphis Grizzlies honoured the city's first professional basketball team during the 2015 - 16 season by wearing the uniforms of the team from 74 - 75.
