Details

The goal in Korbball is to score more baskets as a team than the opposing team - just like in basketball. However, the two sports differ significantly. The most important difference: Korbball players play without a backboard behind the hoop - you must hit the target exactly. Dribbling is heavily limited by rules regarding steps and rebounds. Teamwork, on the other hand, is very important. Passing, catching, running, and shooting are the key technical elements and the cornerstones of every Korbball match. These skills can be practiced and developed playfully from a young age. The size of the Korbball can vary between 56 and 60 cm and must weigh between 400 and 500 g.
