A women's section that sets up a new team starts by counting its size 6 balls, and this is the starting point for women's club equipment. This page brings together match and training balls, women's cut jerseys and shorts, tracksuits, socks, bibs, and coach accessories.

All women's teams play with size 6, from U13 to seniors. The ball is slightly smaller and lighter than the size 7 used by boys, making it easier to handle. This means that for a women's section, one size is sufficient from U13 onwards, which simplifies stock management. Keep approved FFBB balls for matches and training balls for the week. Only the youngest players, in mini-basket, still use size 5.
Several brands offer their training gear in women's fit, which is more tailored at the shoulders and hips.
Have one or two players try on a size before placing a group order. Size guides vary from one brand to another.
The session equipment doesn't change depending on the team, but a well-thought-out kit saves time. A whiteboard for tactical timeouts. A whistle without a ball, which is effective in a noisy gym. About ten cones to mark out the drills. Two-coloured bibs for practice matches. Slip everything into a bag that stays in the gym, and the session starts on time.
For balls and equipment, these brands appear in the bags of women's sections.
A women's section rarely operates alone in a club. The men's teams are equipped on the Men's page, using size 7. The young categories, both girls and boys, have their Junior page. To fill a bag all at once, check out the ball bundles. Baskets and accessories are waiting on the club equipment page, and the brands page sorts everything by manufacturer.
To reduce the costs for the section, several pages are worth a visit. The special offers for clubs and club sales concern collective equipment. The Black Friday and sale clearance also include uniforms. For urgent needs, check the clubs shipped in 24h page.
From U13, like boys of the same age. After that, girls stay in size 6 until senior level, while boys move to size 7. In mini-basket, up to U11, everyone plays with size 5.
It is the right size, but it might not be approved by the FFBB. For official matches, choose a ball whose specifications indicate federal approval. The WNBA ball is still a great choice for training or playground use.
The women's fit is closer to the body and shorter. The mixed fit, which is looser, is liked by players who prefer a more flowing jersey. The simplest way is to have the team vote on a trial model before ordering for the entire group.
Turn the jerseys inside out, wash them at low temperature and without fabric softener, which damages technical fibers. Avoid the tumble dryer, as it can crack the numbers and logos. Flat drying is sufficient; these fabrics dry quickly.
A bib is worn over a jersey, sometimes over a sweatshirt during warm-up. Choose a size that allows ease at the shoulders, without being so loose that it hinders the arms. Bibs are available on the club equipment page.
