An instrument of performance
The AW2 is a shoe with a low upper that gives you total freedom of movement. Elle is no less secure for all that: TPU inserts in the forefoot and heel give you rock-solid stability. Your feet will also be perfectly wedged in your shoe thanks to the synthetic upper and two anti-slip pads on the heel. The outsole features herringbone traction in the midfoot, which becomes multidirectional in the forefoot and heel.
An innovative structure
A novel system called "Three Core" is incorporated into the shoe. The concept? A unique midsole composed of 3 superimposed technologies: "P-Ultralight" cushioning at the top and "Taichi" cushioning at the bottom. A "Foothold+" carbon plate is inserted between the two foams. The aim? To absorb tous impacts during jumps and acceleration, and then to give you an instant, catapult-like sensation of propulsion. The transfer of energy between these 3 layers guarantees 2 things: the unrivalled explosiveness you'll constantly demonstrate, and reduced muscle fatigue in the foot and legs.
Personal distinctions
The AW2 is imbued with the history ofAndrew Wiggins to accentuate the shoe's personalization. In addition to his logo on the TPU heel insert, the shoe features personal elements linked to Mapple Jordan such as Wiggins' signature on the lace loop and his number 22 on the top of the tongue and the strap at the back of the shoe. Wiggins also pays tribute to his family and his winning career withautres elements on the outsole.
